Environmental Justice in Argentina
Environmental justice is the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, national origin, or income, with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies.
This course focuses on case studies of tensions between regulations, human rights on pollution topics and safeguard of natural resources in Argentina.
Course taught fully in English
- For all undergraduate students, specially those with environmental orientation.
- + Intensive Spanish classes.
- 3 week program, earning up to 6 university credits
- Field Trips to Reserves and conflict areas
- Specialist Guest Speakers
- Live with an Argentine family in a home stay.
- Cultural immersion trips
- Cooking classes
- Estancia Day and Tango Classes
