The Canadian Ambassador's visit to České Budějovice

 

The new Canadian Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Ms Valerie Raymond, visited the University of South Bohemia on November 25. As part of her visit she gave a lecture titled Integration of Minorities - Canadian Experience, and then invited for dinner three members of the English Department at Pedagogicka Fakulta. We discussed the department's Canadian Studies program, this semester followed by 25 students, and ways it could be aided by the Canadian Government.
