The aim of the doctoral thesis is to make recovery processes in the skeletal muscles more effective immediately after the sub maximum intensity load and in this way to extend the theoretical area concerning rehabilitation in sport. Prospective analysis of ITF, ATP and WTA rankings of Czech tennis players in the Sport centres of youth

The aim of this article is the analysis of selection of young talented tennis players of the Sport centres of youth in the period of 2001 - 2008. We will analyze their singles and doubles ITF, ATP and WTA rankings. In the period of 2001 - 2008, 60 players were included in the Sport centres of youth. On the whole, 37 players were ranked in the top one hundred of the year end boys and girls combined rollover ranking and 17 in the top one hundred of the ATP or WTA ranking. According to our results we think that efficiency of the selection to tennis Youth sports centre is on very good level.

Food and drink regim as presumption for physical activity

The work is focused on research of some food aspects and drink regime at collection of 1 074 students of University of South Bohemia, who attended some of physical education forms. The seven questions were icluded with.unnormalized questionary, which are noted more closely in methodics. In light of subjective classification of food quality 68,3 % of addressed students were satisfied with their food (27,7 % of students weren't satisfied). Analysis of the background of university students' movement activity and of their motives to do sports

The aim of our research was to analyze the background of university students' movement activity, the frequency of its performance and the hierarchy of the most occurring motivational factors of doing sports as for the students at chosen faculties of the Matej Bel University. There were 177 males and 312 females out of the total number of 489 probands. The average age in the group was 21,1.
