Effect of warm-up on simple reaction time and movement time in fencing lunge

The present study is focused on ascertaining the degree of influence of different types of warm up intervention to the response time of the organism on visual stimulation of LEDs. Response of the organism (RMT) in this regard is perceived as the sum of reaction time (RT) and movement time of lunge (MT). Both of these variables could be due used Fitrosword system and SWORD software monitored separately. The comparison of opinions and attitudes to daily routine and regime of the Czech adults in the years 2000 and 2010

The paper compares results of the pedagogical investigations conducted in the years 2000 and 2010 and covering the Czech population of 18 - 61+ years using SFSPA questionary. The opinions and attitudes of the respondents concerning their daily routine, regime, motive activity and sport were ascertained. In the text we focus to daily routine and regime of respondents, only. The basic statistical characteristics of the sets : in the year 2000 1655 of adults were interviewed, of which 803 males (48,5%) and 852 females (51,5%). In the year 2010 1131 individuals were interviewed, of which 554 males (49%) and 557 females (51%) at the age of 18 - 61+ years....

Stimulation a strenght endurance through exercises on the unstable surfaces

In our work we sought to verify the affecting the efficiency of a Strength programme of exercise on unstable surfaces for stimulation of strength endurance abilities, compared to a similar didactic programme conducted on stable surfaces. The proband sample was selected from the population of college and Prague recreational and active sportsmen (whose movement activity was not focused directly on stimulation of strength abilities). The sample was made up of men aged 20 to 35 (n = 75). Comparison of indicators fatigue during limiting endurance exercise in elite athletes and non-sportspeople

The aim of study is to determine whether the parameters evaluation to achieve the limit performance will different depending on fitness and endurance, or will independent of fitness. The sample included two groups of probands (representatives of the Czech Republic in a short triathlon (n = 23) aged 18.7 ± 1.78 years and non-sportspeople, students of the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University (n = 15) in age 19.5 ± 1.84 years). The paper is a case report on the preparation of an elite Czech triathlete for Olympic Games, with the focus being on the triathlete's organism responses to the stay and training at higher altitudes. The triathlete participated in at least one three-week-or-longer higher-altitude training camp each year during the two four-year Olympic periods prior Beijing 2008 and London 2012. Aplication of inhalation of concentrated oxygen during regeneration in short term anaerobic performance in judo

The research deals with the use of inhalation of concentrated oxygen in the regeneration interval during anaerobic load in Judo. To implement the research was to diagnose the impact of inhaling concentrated oxygen (hyperoxia) on the course of recovery and the water level in capillary blood lactate during intense medium loads modeled for 7 matches (randori) in judo. On the beginnings of the mountain rescue

The article focuses on the history of mountain rescue in the Czech mountains. It describes its development from the first settlement of the mountains until the Second World War. It details the history of the tragedy of Bohumil Hanč and Václav Vrbata in March 1913, which prompted the search for the standards of mountain safety and of mountain rescue operations. The endeavour culminated in 1935, when the first state-organized Search and Rescue organization, Mountain Rescue-Bergdienst, was established in the Giant Mountains.

Benefits of parkour

The article is a summary of knowledge about physical activity called parkour. Due to the content and the form of the parkour it could be added to the range of physical activities for youth. For this group, it is essential the form and the method of an offer. Common forms of physical activities are already depleted. It is necessary to compile knowledge on the use of parkour for the cultivation of the individual. After that, we can recommend parkour as applicable activity to deal with the deficit of phycal activities. Based on this work, it appears that parkour is able to positively influence fitness.
