School Motivation and Learning Environment (CZ–NO)

Katedra Pedagogiky a psychologie PF JU se od roku 2016 účastní společného projektu School Motivation and Learning Environment: Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices s norskou Katedrou pedagogiky a celoživotního vzdělávání na Fakultě společenských věd a technologického managementu Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Projekt je zaměřený na spolupráci obou pracovišť na zvyšování úrovně přípravy budoucích učitelů na pedagogických fakultách, ve výměně zkušeností ve vzdělávání a v podpoře spolupráce na dalších projektech.

Projekt je realizován PhDr. Daliborem Kučerou, Ph.D. za grantové podpory Norských fondů a fondů EHP.

School Motivation and Learning Environment: Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices
Research Stay Project NF-CZ07-INP-5-298-2015

The overall objective of the project is to describe, analyse and share the Norwegian experience of working with school motivation and improving school environment. Moreover, the aim is to identify successful teacher training practices with a potential of being effectively applied to the Czech context. Presented project establishes a cooperation between the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Faculty of Education of University of South Bohemia and the Department of Education and Lifelong Learning of Faculty of Social Sciences and Technology Management of Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Main objectives:

1. Classes: Observations & Discussions
Gathering observational data – attendance as an auditor in Norwegian classes (2 age brackets). Discussions with Norwegian teachers, students and professionals.

2. Teacher Education at the NTNU
Description of the teacher education at the NTNU, particularly in pedagogy (teaching) and educational psychology – subjects, curriculum and praxis.

3. Establishing a Cooperation with the NTNU
Current projects and researches

About Researcher:
Dalibor Kučera is a teacher and researcher in general psychology, educational psychology and psychometrics. He earned his master’s degree in pedagogy at the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň, and his doctor’s degree in general psychology at the Masaryk University in Brno. He works as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Education of University of South Bohemia (Jihočeská univerzita) in České Budějovice at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology.
