Georgia Southern University Exchange Program (AR 2019/2020)
The process to nominate students for the exchange program for the academic year 2019-2020 is now open.
Nomination Process
In order to do this, please send the following materials in an email to International@GeorgiaSouthern.edu. More detailed information can be found on our exchange student page. The application deadline is April 1, 2019.
- Completed Georgia Southern Exchange Student Application for Admission
- Completed I-20/DS-2019 Data Form
- Copy of official home university transcript
- Course Request List
- Copy of TOEFL or IELTS scores
- Original financial documentation showing personal funds ($5,550 to cover health insurance and personal expenses for the year)
- Certificate of Immunization
- Copy of passport information page
Orientation and Housing
After the students have been admitted to Georgia Southern University, they will receive information about registering for SOAR (orientation) and applying for a residence hall. This information will likely come from International Admissions; students can see their options here.
Program of Study
Students should select their program of study based on the list of Majors and Programs available at the university. Students may review the courses that will be available for the upcoming year here in order to complete the Course Request List.
