New Graduate Assistantships Program at the University of Bridgeport
Dear Colleagues and Students,
I know that there are many outstanding students, like you, interested in coming to the United States to further your studies. Being sensitive to the current economic climate, I also know how difficult it can sometimes be to find the funds needed to support your studies at a reputable University that will help you accomplish your goals.
This is why I am very pleased to announce, effective immediately, that the University of Bridgeport will automatically evaluate all international graduate students, applying to a program in our School of Engineering or School of Business, for a 4 credit per semester Graduate Assistantship (GA). More than 150 of these GA opportunities with tuition remission are available. As a GA you will be given the opportunity to work directly with our faculty as either a research, teaching or administrative assistant.
In order to be considered for this exciting, new program you need to send us your completed application for admission as soon as possible. Details on the required documents can be found on this link: http://cts.vresp.com/c/?UniversityofBridgepo/b68f68c034/TEST/0d43b145de
This award is reserved for our academically qualified applicants. We will select the recipients for a GA on the basis of academic credentials and English Language proficiency.
If you are selected for a GA we will send you a letter outlining the terms and conditions of your award along with your I-20 Form, which will also include your tuition discount on it. I am certain that this will assist you tremendously in your efforts to obtain your F-1 student visa and joining the University of Bridgeport.
I hope that you are excited about this tremendous opportunity. The University of Bridgeport, located just one hour from New York City, affords students the chance to learn from some of the most highly respected faculty members in the world. Every year, our graduates go on to receive internships and jobs at companies such as Apple, Google and IBM to name a few.
