Talent selection for present conception of women sports gymnastics

The aim of present contribution was to project and consequently verify test array the use of which in practice would facilitate the selection of talented gymnasts for current concept of women' s gymnastics. Based on study of professional literature there was projected a test battery consisting of three parts - strength testing, speed testing and flexibility testing. Changes of selected condition and somatic prerequisites at students of physical education during one semester

Our study is focused on recognition of changes of chosen physical condition and somatic assumption at students of Physical Education and Sport at Pedagogical Faculty, South Bohemian University during one semester, when physical activity was increased by 137 % in average compared with the period before schooling. With the help of laboratory tests we compared changes of aerobic, anaerobic and somatic parameters. Spatial conditions for Physical Education lessons in primary schools

The aim of this paper is to map and discover opinions regarding spatial conditions for physical education lessons of the physical education teachers in primary schools. The problem is global ignorance of their condition and absence of any norms, which lay down even minimal spatial standards in schools as existed in the past. Data contain 2822 electronic questionnares from Czech primary schools and 50 semistructured physical education teachers interviews from Prague and the Central Bohemia Region. Golf and Olympic Games

The article discusses the golf event at the 1900 and 1904 Olympic Games as well as the reinstatement of golf at the Olympic Games in 2016. Historical information about the two past competitions, the players, their results, and about the golf courses involved, is provided. The article also describes the process by which golf is returning to the Games in 2016, stating reasons for its reinstatement, as well as analyzing both challenges and positive effects that the inclusion of golf can have on the Games in Rio de Janeiro.
