Changes in the level of postural stability for students during semester teaching

The study is focused on the evaluation changes of selected parameters postural stability for students of the FTVS UK depending on the amount of body burden during the summer semester. The research included 20 students, of which 17 students took the entire cycle (n = 10 women, n = 7 men), age of 22,5 ± 1,74 year, body weight 63,7 ± 8,45 kg, body height 169,3 ± 8,01 cm. For the measurement of postural stability device was used FOOTSCAN, sensing frequency has been selected 33 Hz. The relationship of the physical fitness and the number of weekly physical activities at students of University of South Bohemia

The initial prerequisite this work was to determine the physical fitness of students at the University of South Bohemia on the basis load Ruffiers test and to compare physical fitness at different groups of students presenting various faculties University of South Bohemia. Relationship between lower body strength and performance at 50 m breaststroke

The aim of this study was to identify the relationship between performance at 50 m breastroke and lower body strength. Twelve male volunteers from VSK UK Bratislava participated in this research (22,41 ± 3,87 years). Lower body strength we measured in tests: six repetition maxim in squat, mean power of eccentric phase of movement during 30 seconds in squat; maximal isometric force, rate of force dewelopment during 200 m.s-1 , mean power of breastroke legs during 30 seconds in isokinetic mode. We characterize the developments of performance in atlehletic women's events of the hamer throw and 3 000 m Steeplechase to their implementation on the world stage. On the example of analysis of the level of performances at 1st to 10th place of the reduced rank of the world athletic IAAF lists follow the characteristics of time series in 1999-2014.

The outline of volleyball spreading in various regions of interwar Czechoslovakia

The presented article deals with the history of volleyball in the interwar period in Czechoslovakia. This game was imported to Czechoslovakia from the United States of America after the WWI. It was mainly thanks to the secretaries of the American YMCA who worked in Europe. Volleyball started to spread quickly in Czechoslovakia at the beginning of 1920s. It was mainly thanks to the Czechoslovak army, local YMCA unions and college students who met this game during their studies in great cities and who later founded first local teams in their hometowns.
