Extent of physical and sport activities of primary school students in free time and motivation to its performing

The aim of contribution is to present the results aimed on detection of physical and sport activities of primary school students in their free time and their motivation to its performing. Survey sample consisted of 437 students (197 girls and 240 boys) from seven primary school in selected villages and towns of eastern Slovakia. Our present contribution is focused on proposing the optimization of practical entrance exams at Department of Sports Studies Faculty of Education JU. By data analysis of entrance exams from the past four years was found where and which exams are overrated and where and which are underrated. Frequency graphs were created using the results of the data analysis, descriptive statistics and a histogram for each event, to determine the procedure for modifying scoring system. When determining new values into KTVS PF JU tables for practical entrance exams NORM.INV statistical function was used. Recommendation for practice was proposed based on these results.

Effect of altitude training camps in different altitude on hemoglobin and hematocrit concentration in elite female runner

Article is focused in changes in concentration of hemoglobin and hematocrit during two altitude training camps in elite female runner (1 500 m 4:08.68, 5 000 m 15:31.15) in different altitude. Measurement of hemoglobin and hematocrit was realised by Cera Check Hb plus from capillary blood. Concentration of hemoglobin and hematocrit was higher 6 - 14 % then lowland, depend on altitude. The impact of a 3-month exercise program of remedial physical education on selected parameters of the Senior Fitness Test

The aim of this work was to verify if 3-month program of remedial physical education can improve selected parameters of physical fitness in older people. 16 women (mean age 71.88 ± 6.5 yrs) were tested in the beginning and at the end of the program. Four subtests of Senior Fitness Test were used. Exercise program was scheduled for 13 weeks with the frequency once a week and duration of 55 min. This pilot study determined the effect of respiratory exercises in persons with spinal cord injury (SCI) through the intervention - the complex of respiratory exercises. The basics of respiratory gymnastics, yoga respiratory exercises and muscle training were used to create the complex of respiratory exercises. High-intensity interval training is a natural part of the ice hockey preparation. Changes in the level of anaerobic characteristics were monitored at HC Motor Czech Budejovice players in the summer training in 2015 - 2016 and 2016 - 2017. This study compared the effects training on anaerobic capacity following 6-weeks of training. Forty-eight trained subjects were in a training group.
