Rally pace development in five set matches at Australian Open 2017

Duration of a tennis match can reach several hours, especially at grand-slam tournaments. Therefore players need to be in great physical condition, as fatigue can appear during long matches. Also the ball travels very fast from the opponent and the player has only a short time to hit the ball back. The aim is to find out the rally pace and its development during particular sets in five set matches at Australian Open 2017. We analyzed 5 five set matches. In each of them the organized human rescue in the mountain terrain has got a similar date of its formation together with a close connection to the progress in the social life. Demotivating circumstances leading to drop out from sport of talented youth

This article presents the results of a study about problem of drop out talented youth from sport. This often occurring phenomen in sports is related to the occurrence of demotivational circumstances, the nature of which was identified by this pilot study. The effect of caffeine on the change of reaction time in men

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of caffeine on the reaction time on the optic stimulus in men. The study group had 10 people aged 25 to 30 years. The reaction time was measured with a precision measuring meter at 1 millisecond. Caffeine was administered with 100 mg and 200 mg tablets. After 100 mg of caffeine after an hour there was decrease from 352 ms to a value of 336 (decrease by 16 ms, 4,5%). After two hours there was again a slight decrease of 8 ms to 328 ms (total of 24 ms, 6,8%). This paper deals with history of cold water swimming and long-distance swimming in the Czech Lands and Czechoslovakia from the beginnings until 1980. The beginnings of winter swimming we can date in the Czech Lands in the first third of the 20th century, and Alfred Nikodem and Oldřich Liška were the main figures of this swimming discipline. Long-distance swimming started with us at the official race Across Prague, in 1906. Our most famous long-distance swimmers were František Venclovský and Jan Novák.
