The Department of Psychology provides Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. programs in psychology. Thus, we welcome Erasmus psychology students at any study level and offer them a wide variety of psychology-focused courses. Additionally, we offer psychology courses tailored for teacher education students. The courses are taught either in English or, in the case of courses taught in Czech by default, an individual study form is provided. In this respect, teachers can offer consultations and provide students with relevant materials in English.
Bachelor's degree program in Psychology
In the Bachelor's degree program, students have the opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge in various areas of basic and applied psychology. Additionally, they have the option to enrol in practical courses, such as Assistance in Psychological Research, where they collaborate on ongoing research projects conducted within our department, including research in our VR lab, physiolab, or EEG lab.
Master's degree program in Psychology
In the Master's degree program, we offer courses designed to provide students with general professional knowledge in the field of psychology, as well as more specialised courses related to the fields of applied psychology, such as couple and family psychology or educational psychology. Students may also choose a course Assistance in Psychological Research, where they collaborate on ongoing research projects conducted within our department, including research in our VR lab, physiolab, or EEG lab.
Ph.D. degree program in Educational Psychology
In the Ph.D. degree program, we offer students the opportunity to initiate or continue work on their Ph.D. thesis under the supervision of an expert at the Department of Psychology.
